Aim and Scope
Journal of Pediatric Infection (Çocuk Enfeksiyon Dergisi) is the official scientific, open-access publication of the Society of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Immunization; it is published quarterly in March, June, September, and December. Additionally, a supplementary issue is published for the National Congress of Pediatric Infectious Diseases.
The aim of the journal is to publish scientifically high-quality research articles in the field of child health and diseases. The journal accepts reviews, original research articles, editorial opinions, letters to the editor, case reports, and educational scientific writings (what is your diagnosis?, routines, question-answer, clinical tips, news from the world literature). It is an independent, unbiased journal based on double-blind peer-review principles, with publication languages being Turkish and English.
Journal of Pediatric Infection is indexed in Web of Science (Emerging Sources Citation Index), CINAHL, Türkiye Citation Index, and TÜBİTAK/ULAKBİM Turkish Medical Index. The editorial and publication processes of the journal are organized in accordance with ICMJE, WAME, CSE, COPE, EASE, and NISO guidelines. The journal complies with principles of good practice and transparency in scientific publishing.
The journal’s publication process and publications are free of charge. No fees are requested from authors at any stage during evaluation and publication processes. All manuscripts are submitted through the online submission system. The journal's author guidelines, technical information, and related forms are available on the journal's website.
The opinions expressed in the articles published in the journal reflect the views of the authors and do not represent the views of the Society of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Immunization, editors, editorial board, or the publisher. The responsibility for the articles belongs to the authors; the editors, editorial board, and publisher do not assume responsibility for the content.
All published content of the journal is freely accessible online. Printed copies of the journal are distributed free of charge to members of the Society of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Immunization. The Society holds the international copyright of all published content. Applications for reprint permissions should be made to the Editor-in-Chief.
